When you submit a purchase order, you're not sending a vague wish into the void. You're handing a specific list to a shopper who knows the market.
Here's the flow we follow for most physical items.
1. Parse your list
We break your request into line items with quantities, notes, and any reference photos you attach. "Size 42, white if available" matters — we pass it verbatim to the stall.
2. Check live availability
Our shoppers start with known trusted sellers, then widen the search if needed. We compare like-for-like — same model, same spec — not a cheaper knock-off unless you asked for one.
3. Send you a quote
You get a priced breakdown by email with a Paystack link. No payment until you approve. If something isn't available, we say so and suggest alternatives.
4. Buy and deliver
After payment we purchase, keep the receipt, and book delivery through our logistics partners. You can track status from your dashboard.
Tip: Save lists you buy often as Groups on BigAboki — next time it's one tap to order again with the same contact and delivery details.
Why markets still win
Online prices aren't always the floor. A ten-minute walk in the right aisle can save thousands of naira on phones, appliances, and bulk groceries — if someone who knows the market is doing the walking.
That's the job we took on. More stories coming soon.
